We are less than two weeks away from the biggest cricketing summer carnival which is called the Indian Premier League as the 14th edition is about to be kicked off with all the teams in preparation to dethrone Mumbai Indians as the champions while the Rohit Sharma led side will be looking to win the crown for an unprecedented third consecutive time. The teams have made a lot of changes to their playing personnel during the auction which was held in February, while some of the teams have changed their outfits, Punjab have renamed their team as well ahead of the huge season.

The story as it happened –

Three time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings have been one of the most famous and most loved teams in the IPL and the yellow army have legions of fans not only in Chennai but across the Nation and World who have a huge love for the MS Dhoni led side. Chennai super kings have changed their jersey for the first time and have changed their jersey and perhaps it is apt because of the love for the armed forces that Dhoni has. The shoulder of the jersey has seen camouflage stripes which has excited the fans.

Twitter reacts to the change –

Chennai Super Kings posted a short video on twitter promoting the new jersey and the fans have loved every bit of it. As soon as they video went viral many fans and known names have come out and given their views on the kit. The kit change was long overdue and the fans took to twitter in full drove to voice their opinions.

This could possibly be the last season the IPL fans and Chennai faithful could see their favorite Thala Dhoni in action and end his stint in the IPL with a potential 4th title as a send-off for the greatest captain India has ever seen.
