The young lady has showcased varied moods which have caught the eye of the lens and has really captivated the viewers, her disappointments were visible when Sunrisers Hyderabad lost a few close games to begin with like any other Hyderabad fan would after such a loss. The only win they have posted so far this season was met with a huge delight and on Sunday the young Kaviya Maran was as vocal and expressive during the humdinger of a clash against Delhi capitals.
The Story as it happened –
Sunday witnessed two epic matches of varied proportions if the Bangalore versus Chennai game was one side due to the solo brilliance of Ravindra Jadeja the game between Delhi and Hyderabad saw the first super over of the season. Kane Williamson was the lone man standing as he battled the heat and the treacherous Chennai pitch to combat everything that was dished out to him by the Delhi bowlers. With 16 required of the last over the pair of Suchith and Williamson were hoping for a miracle and one arrived when Hyderabad required 10 off 4 balls but Suchith struck a massive six of Kagiso Rabada to make matters interesting.
Kaviya Maran’s joy knows no bounds –
Once Suchith struck the ball for a six the equation was in the grasp of Hyderabad as they required only four runs from 3 balls and were favorites to win the game, the cameras cut to Kaviya Maran who nearly leapt off her seat and was seen in all glee at the possibility of a second win of the season for David Warner and his men. The celebration though was short lived as the match ended in a tie going into the super-over and SRH surprised one and all by not batting Bairstow in the tie breaker and lost the match to give Delhi their 4th win of the season.
