Deepak Hooda opens up about his current equation with Krunal Pandya

 

Lucknow Super Giants have made quite a start to their TATA IPL journey. After losing their first game, they came back to beat CSK in the next match and also winning their 3rd game against SRH. On Thursday the KL Rahul led side face off against Delhi Capitals at the DY Patil stadium in Nerul. Apart from the exciting action on the field, TATA IPL over the years has helped players forge a friendship which has gone and grown off the field too. One such relation is between Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya.

The story as it happened –

Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya had a huge falling out while training together at Baroda. This led to Hooda shifting bases to Rajasthan for the domestic cricket season. Eyebrows were raised and lot of speculations arose when both Hooda and Krunal Pandya were picked by the Lucknow franchise.

Deepak Hooda speaks about his equation with Krunal –

Speaking to newspaper called Dainik Jagran, the 27 year old Deepak Hooda has come clean on his relationship with Krunal Pandya. Hooda said “Krunal Pandya is like my brother, and brothers do fight. We are playing with one aim, which is to win games for LSG” . After this statement one can assume that everything is well between the former rivals turned friends. The first sign of rekindled friendship was seen when Deepak Hooda took Shubman Gill’s catch in LSG’s first game. Krunal Pandya who was standing close to Hooda was the 1st to react and hugged him. This became a huge internet sensation with fans talking about it for ages.

LSG hope to keep the momentum going –

Thursday is a huge day for Lucknow Super Giants as they face off against Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals. KL Rahul has found form with the bat again, the likes of Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Krunal Pandya have been doing well with the ball. Andrew Tye too has been impressive so far. Delhi will hope that David Warner who is likely to make his debut today can score runs along with Shaw who has been out of form. It will be an exciting game between the two high flying sides and DY Patil is sure to watch a classic in the making.
