Indian captain Rohit Sharma is a happy camper after winning the T20I series against South Africa. India won the 2nd game on Sunday by 16 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3 match series. The series win means that India now can start to focus and prepare for the 2022 T20 World Cup with the first match against Pakistan 19 days away. Off the field too the Indian captain has made one fan’s day pretty special post the Guwahati game.

Khushboo Sharma was in attendance at the Barsapara Stadium on Sunday, when Rohit Sharma spotted her. The Indian captain took it upon himself for a selfie, Mrs. Sharma took to Instagram and wrote the entire sequence of events, when she wrote. “it is said every picture has a story behind it… this is one such story to tell… when Rohit Sharma came to know I am his fan… He himself approached me.. talked sweetly to my nieces.. I was so startled.. I started blabbering how I was his huge fan.. and realizing this mid-way if I was wasting and he politely said no.. no absolutely not.. I even forgot to ask him for a picture.. and he asked me .. ‘Do you want a picture come let me take one for you”. The fan in question further wrote “Still pinching myself @Rohitsharma45 thank you so much sir”

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul rested for the 3rd game –

Coming to the final game at Indore on Tuesday, it can be confirmed that Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will miss the game on Tuesday. It is expected that Shreyas Iyer will play the game and Rishabh Pant could open the innings.
