India cricket: Ravichandran Ashwin makes a huge comment about Kuldeep Yadav

 

Indian off spin bowler, Ravichandran Ashwin knows a thing or two about the craft Of spin bowling. The 36 year old has for over a decade now created a legend with his bowling. The Chennai lad is part of the Indian team which is in Australia to play the 2022 T20 world cup. Ashwin at 36 is still going strong and picking wickets at will, but his career could soon wind down in the next 3-4 years as possibly one of the greatest spin bowlers for India. Ashwin recently took to his official YouTube channel and gave his thoughts about Kuldeep Yadav the left chinaman bowler. 

The story as it happened - 

Kuldeep yadav spun his magic around the South African batters to pick 4/18 in his 4.1 overs on Tuesday to bowl the visitors out for 99. Yadav was given the man of the match for his bowling. Indian cricket fans also praised the 27 year old left arm wrist spinner for his bowling performance to lead India to 2-1 series win in the ODI series.

Ashwin heaps praise on Kuldeep Yadav - 

Taking to his official YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin had words of praise for Kuldeep Yadav. The 36 year old spinner said " I have always felt this about Kuldeep Yadav when we talk about wrist spinners. He has got this amazing feature to bowl the repetitive lengths that are required to do well in the longer formats"

Ashwin who has taken nearly 450 test wickets went onto heap more praise on Kuldeep Yadav when he said in the video "He can land the ball in a particular spot whenever he wants. And that's a fantastic quality for a wrist spinner and that's a massive value for a wrist spinner "

Kuldeep Yadav and his journey so far - 

Kuldeep Yadav turned heads in the junior and age group levels for India. He was soon hailed as a once in generation talent. He made his test debut at Dharamshala against Australia in early 2017. He impressed everyone with his guile and flight. Yadav picked 5 wickets in early 2019 against Australia at the Sydney cricket ground. He then had to wait 2 years to play his next test match which came against England in 2021 at Chennai. 

Kuldeep yadav and Chahal had formed a famed partnership in white ball cricket to be called Kul-Cha. Yadav endured a bad 2021 as he wasn't given any game time by KKR. Once he shifted to Delhi capitals he soon found his mojo and rhythm to become one of the standout players for DC. Yadav then suffered an injury and the south African series was seen as his comeback.
