Indian Cricket: Preview for the 2nd ODI between India and Bangladesh

India were shocked on Sunday as Bangladesh came from behind to win the 1st ODI. Bangladesh at one stage were 136/9 while chasing 187 to win. Mehidy Hasan though had other plans. A few costly fielding lapses and a dropped catch by KL Rahul saw the game slip from the grasp of the Indian team.

Speaking about the men in blue, the Indian top order yet again failed to put runs of the board. While Rohit scored 27, he looked far from convincing, while Dhawan was out for 7 while trying to manufacture a shot. Virat Kohli looked good but fell for 9 thanks to a blinder by Liton Das.

Just like the 1st ODI, expect spin to play a key role in the 2nd game as well. One of the fast bowlers could make way for one extra spinner in the line-up for India if Axar Patel is fit. The fast bowlers can expect some swing under lights with the new ball and there could be uneven bounce in the pitch.
