Ishan Kishan puts out Instagram story after not getting picked up in AsiaCup 2022

The squad for AsiaCup 2022 has been announced and some of the names are not included in the list. Ishan Kishan was one of the players who were performing well whenever he got the chance when the first-choice openers were not available, he was seen opening with Rohit Sharma in the shortest formats of the cricket.

He was performing decently, but the team management promoted Rishabh pant and SuryaKumar yadav at the top order, despite them being the middle-order batsman in most parts of their International careers. The 24-years old batsman was there in the West Indies T20 squad, but his name is not included in the Asia Cup list.

While the former Indian Captain and the current Vice Captain, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are returning back to the squad. The fans would like to see which batsman will come at the No3. Deepak Hooda was also picked ahead of Shreyas Iyer.

Shreyas Iyer was named among the three backup players for the tournament with Deepak Chahar and Axar Patel, while Ishan Kishan was left out of the scheme of things completely.

The selectors might have reasons to not pick Ishan Kishan, but he is upset with the decision and his beahviour is totally reflected by one of the stories on Instagram. He has posted a story in which there is a part of rap which tells a person not to repeat the mistake of being soft in any situation and rather turn himself into a fiery beast.

It would be amazing to see him make a statement with his performances on the upcoming Zimbabwe tour where he would be playing in the ODI series as a wicketkeeper-batsman.

The player was the leading run-scorer in India's series against South Africa with a couple of half-centuries but since then, he has featured in just five games in total till out of the 10 India he has played.
