England come into the 3 match ODI series mere days after winning the T20 World Cup. The defending double world champions are high on confidence and have had the wood over Australia in the last couple of encounters.
Australia on the other hand come into the series on the back of a disastrous world cup campaign. Where it was England who knocked them out of the tournament owing to poor run rate. Australia also have a new captain in Pat Cummins leading the line after the retirement of Aaron Finch from ODI cricket.
