The name MS Dhoni doesn’t need any introduction, as the 40 year old has been a huge name in the annals of cricket for a long time. He also led India to the world number 1 status in test cricket for the first time in 2009.

The story as it happened –

MS Dhoni last week shocked the world when he gave up his CSK captaincy just 48 hours before the start of TATA IPL 2022. Ravindra Jadeja was named the new captain and Dhoni for the first time in his CSK career was playing as a regular member of the team. The fans were quick to note MSD wearing orange color gloves during the season opening game against KKR on Saturday. Finally the reason has been revealed for the reason behind this move.

The answer is simple when MSD started playing for India he used to keep wickets with SS provided gloves which were yellow in color. Towards the end of his career he wanted to go back to the same kit in a bid to say thanks to his kit providers in his initial years.
