Unnamed Indian selector makes a massive statement about DInesh Karthik's world cup place

Indian cricket team under Rohit Sharma are sweating it out in all earnest as they get ready to face the West Indians in the 2nd T20 at St . Kitts. The Indian team will now also be looking to prepare itself for the T20 world cup which will be later this year in Australia. The Indian team has a 1-0 lead in the five match series with 4 more games to be played. The Indian team under Rohit Sharma will also have a keen eye on having a core of players fixed for the World Cup. One of the players in question is 37 year old Dinesh Karthik who has made a smashing comeback into the Indian team after a period of 3 years.

During the series against South Africa, the 4th T20 saw Dinesh Karthik score his 1st ever T20 half century for India. DK scored a 27 ball 55 and during the 1st T20 against West Indies he scored 19 ball 41 to help India reach 190 on the board. India went on to win the game by 68 runs. Many of the former cricketers have called on the selectors to include DK on the plane to Australia. Back in 2020, DK had said that he wanted to play the next two World Cups which was held in 2021 and this year in 2022. DK's latest form with the bat has found him new fans not only for India, but also amongst the RCB faithful.
