Watch! India touches down in England and shows its swag

 

India is in England to take on the hosts in one off test and few games of ODI and T20 cricket. The sole test is the rescheduled final test which was to be played at Manchester last year. The match was put off for later as the COVID19 cases hit the Indian camp. The sole test match is to be played from the 1st ot July at the Edgbaston ground at Birmingham. India last year toured England for five match test series. The first test at Trent Bridge ended in a draw. India won the Lord's test, and England came back to square the series at Leeds. India then beat England at Oval for the first time in 50 years to take a 2-1 series lead. 

Rohit Sharma and Co touch down with swag 

This year Rohit Sharma will be leading the Indian team in the sole test against England. The opener was in good form last year during the test match series. Rohit Sharma had scored one century and one half century and scored over 380 runs in the series. The latest picture doing the rounds was showing the Indian team touch down in England. The video was shared on Twitter, with Kohli's entry being the focus. 

Shubman Gill is confirmed to open for team India alongside Rohit Sharma. Gill, last played for India against New Zealand during the two match test series. KL Rahul was ruled out of the series after suffering a groin injury. Rahul has now gone to Germany to get his fitness sorted. Mayank Agarwal was supposed to fly in as a cover. But the BCCI has now confirmed that Gill and Rohit will open the innings.
