Indian Cricket: Irfan Pathan hits back at Pakistani fans after trolling on social media
India and Pakistan fans always get active on social media whenever a cricket match is played between the two nations. In case of a win for each side, the fans hop over and start to take mickey out of the opposition. Sunday, presented one such occasion for Pakistan team who won the 2023 ACC Emerging Asia Cup by beating India A in the final. The win sent the Pakistani fans on an over-drive as they went crazy on social media as they decided to target the former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan.

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has always been an active user of the social media forums. Irfan had taken to Twitter wrote “Padosiyo Sunday Kesa Raha?”.This Tweet was done after India’s famous victory against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup which was played at Melbourne in 2022. This was after India had claimed a close win after Kohli scored 82 not out.
After the ACC emerging Asia Cup win over India on Sunday, the Pakistanis were out on social media. One Pakistani even was compelled to make up a fake profile of Irfan Pathan on Twitter. The guy in question was seemingly trying to rile up the former Indian player. The other fans who were trolling the Indian star took to social media to post memes and GIFs in a bid to mock the 38 year old from Baroda.

The 38 year old Indian star is away in Zimbabwe as he is play the Zim-Afro T10 series for the Harare Hurricanes. Pathan, took to Twitter and wrote “Ek Sunday ke tweet ko bhool nahi paye ho. Kitne Velle ho?”. Noted Indian Radio Jockey, Alok, also chimed in replied to Irfan Pathan’s tweet “hahahhaa they have made many fake accounts apke naam pe jaane dijiye tavajoo dene ki zaroorat nahi hai”. This evoked a laughing emoji from Irfan Pathan.
