IPL 2023: Twitter reacts to fans prediction about Kohli’s ton as Swiggy mocks Naveen Ul Haq
Royal Challengers Bangalore stormed into the 4th place in the IPL table. Faf Du Plessis and his side beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets on Thursday night. It was a special night for Virat Kohli as he scored his 6th IPL ton and 1st in over 4 years. The fans very overcome with joy to see the bat aloft once again as Kohli showed his class and mastery with the bat.

Chasing 187 to win, many expected the SRH bowlers to make life difficult for the Bangalore batting unit. Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli though made short work off the opposition.

The Afghanistan international has been mocked time and again by the crowds on and off the field for his battle with the former Indian skipper. Swiggy took to Twitter and wrote “sorry mango cheeku is the real king”. The reference in question being, Cheeku is the nickname for Kohli. Mango was the fruit Naveen Ul Haq was seen posting when RCB lost to Mumbai.
Heinrich Klassen top scored for Hyderabad with 104 off 51 balls as the home team reach 186 on the board. With a target of 187 to keep their hopes alive for a top 4 finish it was up to Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli and Faf did just that as they added 172 runs for the 1st wicket in 17.5 overs. Kohli scored 100 off 63 balls with 12 fours and 4 sixes to register his 6th IPL ton and move on par with Chris Gayle. The RCB skipper scored 71 off 47 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes as RCB reached the target in the final over with 8 wickets and 4 balls to spare.
