TATA IPL 2023 season has seen some amazing cricketing action on the field of play. The fans who have been in the ground or watching on TV have witnessed some amazing moments with the bat, ball and in the field. Monday, the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants saw sparks fly. Once the game ended, there was chaos as Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli got into a verbal spat.

Virat Kohli, is one not known to shy away from dramatics and wears his heart on his sleeve. At the fall of each wicket, the former Indian captain was seen celebrating wildly. The entire situation came about after LSG’s wild celebration post their win against RCB earlier in the season. Gautam Gambhir’s “Keep Quiet” gesture to the Bangalore crowd was one of the reasons touted.

Its still nearly 48 hours, but the entire argument between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is still hogging headlines. Many fans have come out and had their say on the social media platform. UP Police too has come up with a tweet and has put out a rather hilarious take on the whole situation.
UP Police tweeted “Avoid Arguing, Not Calling Us. Dial 112 In Case Of Emergency”. The tweet further read, What caught the attention of the fans was the tweet in Hindi, which read “Koi B Masla Hamare Liye ‘Virat’ Ya ‘Gambhir’ Nahi”. A clear word play on Virat (Big or Huge in Hindi) Kohli and Gautam Gambhir (Serious in Hindi).
Lucknow Super Giants faced off against Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday afternoon in the 1st of the second double header weekday. Gautam Gambhir will be without his captain KL Rahul who has been ruled out of the tournament. Rahul, hurt his leg on Monday and will under BCCI supervision and is a huge doubt for the World Test Championship final.
Virat Kohli, is in Delhi as he will turn out for the Royal Challengers Bangalore against the Delhi Capitals next. David Warner and his men kept their slim hopes alive by beating defending champions Gujarat by 5 runs on Tuesday night. A win for bottom placed Delhi will open the tournament even more, while a win for Bangalore will put them in with a good shout of making it to final 4.
