The India versus Australia series which was turning out to be docile and pretty friendly seems to have caught steam and the hostilities seem to have resumed on and off the field. Be it the Matthew Wade and Rishabh Pant verbal slanging match or the send-off by Mitchell Starc to Ravindra Jadeja to the latest being the Australian media playing up the potential bio- bubble breach by Indian cricketers or the reported unhappiness by the Indian team over the quarantine rules and their reluctance to play the last test match at Brisbane has made the news in the last few days. Australian coach Justin Langer has waded into this and made some rather interesting observations about the same.

Once the whole controversy broke out regarding the Indian team in a possible breach of the Bio- Bubble and their apparent unwillingness to play their last test match at Brisbane due to another round of mandatory quarantine being in place. Australian coach Justin Langer made some rather interesting observations when he said when he was speaking to the media and he said We all have a choice, that’s one thing; No one has got a God-given right to play for Australia and for their country. Every one of us can step outside of it. I have been very consistent in saying that if anyone can deal with it cricketers can because that’s how we live most of our lives anyway”

There has been a constant back and forth verbal squabbling once the matter came to light about the hesitation the Indian has in moving to another city to finish the test series. The Indian team wants to finish the series in Sydney before they head back home to India. Some of the prominent Australian cricketers from the past have come out and slammed this demand from the Indian team while the BCCI has put its full support behind the Indian team. The series is now finely poised with both teams having won one test apiece, the third test is sure to be cracker which begins January the 7th and will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
