Indian team on Wednesday steamrolled the New Zealand team to win the final T20 at Ahmedabad. It was an unbelievable effort by Hardik Pandya and his men as India ran out winners by a massive 168 runs. The stars of the show were Shubman Gill and the Indian pacers who did the number over the Kiwi batters. With the virtue of this win, India won the series 2-1 and kept their proud home record intact.

The story so far –

India won the toss and chose to bat first as Umran Malik replaced Yuzvendra Chahal in the playing XI. The Kiwis also made one change as Jacob Duffy made way for debutant Ben Lister. The pitch had a lot in it for the fast bowlers after the spin fest in the first 2 games of the series.

Malik’s searing pacer leaves Bracewell looking helpless –

Umran Malik bowled just 1 over in the first game that he played at Ranchi. The 23 year old was replaced by Chahal for the 2nd game at Lucknow. The ball was handed to Malik in the 5th over and there was immediate impact by the Jammu Express.

Bracewell tried to hit Malik across the line with the Kiwis reeling at 21/4. Malik’s delivery was clocked at 150 KPH as the bails went flying in the air and landed near the 30 yard circle as per Murali Karthik. It was a huge wicket as Bracewell was out for 8.
