Who’s the Mystery Girl spotted in the stand during Kings Xi Punjab match against Mumbai Indians

The past weekend of the IPL saw high octane drama as both the games played on Sunday went down to the wire with the exciting super over being used to determine the winner. The cherry on top was the double Super over in the game between Mumbai Indians and Kings Xi Punjab which kept the fans and the commentators glued to their seat with nervous energy. Towards the end of the game though, with Mumbai Indians needing 2 runs from 1 ball the camera panned to an attractive Punjab fan that seems to have caught the imagination of the Twitterverse.

Mysterious Girl catches the attention

“Mysterious Girl” a song by Peter Andre was one of the biggest hits of the 1990s but that song would have been perfect for this fan who grabbed all the eyeballs this past Sunday. As soon as the camera panned to the girl, Twitter went into a frenzy to wonder who this girl was. It turns out that the pretty fan that was captured on camera goes by the name Raina Lalwani. Raina happens to be a huge Kings Xi Punjab supporter and has a relative who happens to hold a stake in the Punjab franchise.

Lady luck the charm

It was perhaps all the lady luck of Raina that has helped Punjab turn a corner and come back roaring into form to possibly stake a claim in the top four of the table. Before the match against Mumbai, the Punjab outfit were in a world of trouble as one more loss would have more or less spelt the end of their tournament. However, a gritty performance where they held their own and won despite twice going into super over and later a win against Delhi Capitals seems to have sprung a new life into the Kings Xi campaign. The lady luck charm of Raina Lalwani seems to have rubbed off and playing wonders for the team from Punjab.
