While the Indian and Australian teams are going at it in the fierce test series for the Border-Gavaskar trophy, the Australian fans that are still gripped with the Coronavirus Pandemic with daily rise in cases have been given something to cheer about with the fast-paced action of the Big Bash League. The BBL which is known for its nonstop action and entertainment provided one more moment to remember in a game between Perth Scorchers and Sydney thunder played at the Perth Stadium.

Chasing 186 to win the Sydney team were in trouble at 45 for 3 with Alex Hales dismissed for 5, the incident occurred when Australian bowler Jason Behrendoff slid to field a ball and lobbed it back to wicketkeeper Josh Inglis who fluffed his lines and fumbled the throw only to recover it back in time and affect a shoddy looking run out with what the commentators described the technique as a forehand volley. The highlight though was the priceless reaction of Jason Roy who seen having a hearty laugh at the whole situation. The unfortunate batsman was Alex Ross who was run out for 0 without facing a ball. The wicket of Ross saw Sydney reduced to 46 for 4 in a chase of 186 at the Perth Stadium.
Perth Scorchers post an easy win

Batting first Perth Scorchers scored a respectable 185 for 6 with Colin Munro scoring a 41 ball 50 with one four and three sixes. Captain Ashton Turner scored a 13 ball 31 with 3 fours and 2 sixes. In reply Sam Billings scored a 48 ball 83 with 8 fours and 4 sixes. The thunder team fell short by 17 runs as Jhye Richardson was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/24 from his four overs.
