Ishan Kishan’s girlfriend reacts as Mumbai Indians win their 2nd game of the season

IK

Friday was a happy day for Mumbai Indians fans as they won their 2nd game of the season at the Brabourne stadium. The win came late in the season as the Mumbai outfit are already out of the tournament placed 10th in the table. The win was their 2nd win in a row after they had beaten RR on Rohit Sharma’s birthday. The loss to Mumbai delayed the final 4 qualification for the Hardik Pandya led side who had lost their second game in a row.

Ishan Kishan’s girlfriend posts her reaction to the win –

Aditi Hundia who is rumored to be dating Mumbai Indians wicket keeper batsman Ishan Kishan took a screengrab of her TV and wrote “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY” to celebrate the win for the men in blue and gold. Ishan Kishan0 has had a mixed season with the bat after he was bought for INR 15.25 crores in the IPL auction earlier this year. The left hander from Jharkhand seems to have found some form in the last few games after a run of dismal performances. Kishan was unlucky not to score a half century after he looked set for a big score when he fell to Joseph caught by Rashid Khan for 45 off 29 balls with 5 fours and a six.

Rohit, Ishan Kishan and Tim David help Mumbai reach 173 –

Gujarat won the toss and put Mumbai into bat, and for the first time this season, Rohit Sharma looked in decent nick. The Mumbai skipper scored 43 off 28 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Suryakumar Yadav scored, Tilak Varma scored 21 and Pollard continued his bad form with 14 ball 4. It was Tim David who provided the impetus with 44 off 21 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes to help MI reach 173.

MI bowlers keep their cool to record a win by 5 runs –

Shubman Gill and Saha added 106 for the first wicket and it looked like GT were going to coast to an easy win. Murugan Ashwin struck twice to remove both the openers to leave GT at 111 for 2. Sai Sudarshan was  hit wicket for 14, while Pandya was run out by Ishan Kishan for 24. This is when Daniel Sams was given the final over with 9 runs to defend. Sams was hit for 35 by Cummins when MI played KKR but yesterday the left arm pacer did his job by holding his nerves to help MI record their 2nd win of the season much to the joy of fans in the stadium.
