We are less then 24 fours from the biggest game of the biggest league in the world. TATA IPL 2022, will see Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi stadium on Sunday. The match will see the top two teams of the league battle it out one final time this season as Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson lock horns once again. Rajasthan Royals won the title in the first season in 2008 under Shane Warne who passed away earlier this year. Gujarat Titans on the other hand have reached the finals in their debut season of the TATA IPL.
Sanju Samson’s wife trolls Star Sports India –
Before the season began no one expected Rajasthan Royals or Gujarat Titans to make the finals. The bet was on the usual suspects, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, while few others had beat on the likes of KKR and RCB. This made Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha Ramesh to have a go at Star Sports India the official broadcasters of TATA IPL. Mrs, Samson first posted a cartoon of Mumbai and CSK being in the finals race in a vignette made by Star Sports India. She captioned it by saying “Saw this animated video showing the race of IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why wasn’t there any pink jersey”. She later posted a picture of the entire RR team and wrote the word Finals and ended with a # named Greatful.
Big game day ahead –
Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, both have huge reasons to play for as they get ready to face each other in the finals. Gujarat Titans will be playing the finals in front of their home fans. Hardik Pandya has been a success as the skipper of the team and has led them well and made the team tick as a unit. RR on the other hand have been playing for their first skipper, Shane Warne who passed away on the 4th of March this year after a sudden cardiac arrest while on holiday in Thailand. Earlier this season, Kumar Sangakkara, the director of cricket for RR said that they will play the brand of cricket that would have made Warne Proud. A win for RR would be the best way for them to honor their memory of the first captain and their forever Royal member Shane Keith Warne.
