Indian Cricket: Virat Kohli’s social media post creates panic on social media

Fans of the Indian cricket team can be an emotional bunch. They love to rally behind the team with bouquets and brickbats with equal measure. During his hey-days only Sachin Tendulkar enjoyed the level of adoration that could term him and bracket him into the demi-god status.

The craze for Virat Kohli doesn’t need any introduction or write ups, Kohli is revered like crazy amongst the cricket crazy people in India. The former Indian captain after years of active cricket has started to take breaks from series for India.

The story so far –

Indian team is New Zealand and are missing out two of their big names. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The legion of fans are missing the duo and their dynamic batting.

Virat Kohli was in prime and vintage form during the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup scoring 296 runs from the 6 games with 4 half centuries. One of the best knocks of the 4 fifties was his unbeaten 82 against Pakistan at MCG which won the game for India in the last ball. The game saw the Indian emotions swing like a pendulum on 23rd October.

Kohli reminisces about the knock –

Virat Kohli earlier in the morning on Saturday 26th November, took to Instagram and Twitter. The 34 year old posted a picture of himself walking back to the dugout after winning the game for India against Pakistan.

Virat Kohli took to Twitter and wrote “October 23rd 2022 will always be special in my heart. Never felt energy like that in a cricket game before. What a blessed evening that was”


Kohli set to comeback for Bangladesh tour –

Virat Kohli will next be seen playing for India in the 2 match test series and 3 game ODI series against Bangladesh. The series will start in December before India comeback home for a short rest period. Kohli after year’s of not scoring a century ended the wait with a century against Afghanistan during the 2022 Asia Cup.
