The first test between Pakistan vs England has been on a gunfire for both the sides. After England posted a mammoth 657 in the first innings, Pakistan batters returned the favor with the opening partnership of 225 runs that frustrated the English bowlers.

The pitch is not offering much to the English bowlers, and the England team is looking to produce something out of the pitch.

But something unique happened in the field, where Joe Root was seen shining the ball in the unique method. Root was seen shining the ball  on Jack Leach's head after the end of the over to maintain the shine of the red ball from one side.

Pakistan openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq scored centuries to provide a brilliant start after England's onslaught in the first innings. Shafique scored 114, while Imam scored 121 as the duo stitched a 225-run partnership for the opening wicket. England finally got rid of both batters courtesy of Jack Leach and Will Jack.

With the English cricket team playing a Test match in Pakistan after 17 years, a lot is expected from this match. England has smashed 100 runs in just 15 overs of Pakistan. Only the test match was looking from the jerseys of the cricketers, otherwise it was looking like a ODI-format cricket.

The game also turned out to be a record-breaking test where we witnessed two double century opening partnerships. England scored 233-1, whereas Pakistan scored 225-1.
