Watch! Cameron Green suffers a “Brain-Fade” moments after running out Travis Head

Australia stamped their class on the 2nd test against West Indies which began on Thursday at the Adelaide Oval. The match is the final game of the series and is a pink ball test match played under lights.

The home team are already 1-0 up in the series after their amazing win in the 1st test at Perth on the final day of the game. The match has seen quiet a few debut caps being handed out to players from the visiting side. The Australians on the other hand are captained by Steve Smith who replaced the injured Pat Cummins.

Travis Head gives Cameron Green the “Death Stare” after getting run out –

Local boy Travis Head was batting well on 175 well on his way to a maiden double ton. The score was his best score beating the 162 he had score previously. Just when it looked like Head will get to his double ton all hell broke loose.

Cameron Green hit the ball to the fine leg and immediately signaled Head to come back for a couple. Just when Travis Head was down the pitch, Green sent him back as Devon Thomas threw the ball to Joshua Da Silva who took the bails off. The 3rd umpire gave Head run out for 175 who gave a dirty stare to the young Green while going back to the pavilion.

Green’s misery ends in appalling fashion –

Nearly 3 overs later, Cameron Green was out for just 9 runs off 42 balls. At a time when Australia were looking for quick runs the 23 year old was seen wasting deliveries and taking time to get a move on.

Alzarri Joseph bowled the ball outside off only for Green to left his bat, but the ball got the underage and went back on to the stumps. This left the Australian fans angry and unimpressed at Green.

Australia have the visitors on the ropes after declaring at 511-

Australia began the day 330/3 as Labuschagne became the 2nd fastest to score 3000 test runs when he was on 153. Labuschagne’s record is only bettered by the great Sir Donald Bradman. The 28 year old was out for 163 to give Devon Thomas his 2nd wicket. Post the wickets of Head and Green, wicket keeper Alex Carey swung his bat to stay 41* as Australia declared at 511/7 from 137 overs.

The visitors lost 2 early wickets at 45 as Brathwaite fell for 19 while Brooks was out for 8. Michael Neser getting both the wickets for the home team under the lights. It was soon 50/3 as Blackwood playing his 50th test was out for 3 offering a return catch to Nathan Lyon. It was the turn of Green to make amends when he bowled Thomas for 19 to have WI at 90 for 4. At Stumps, West Indies were 107/4 with T. Chanderpaul on 47 and Anderson Philip on 1.
