The name Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is one that every fan loves to take with respect. The 49 year old may have retired 9 years ago, but the respect and love he gets from the fans is still intact.

Sachin Tendulkar nowadays keeps himself off the limelight but still makes few appearances on the field. The 49 year old is expected to be seen in the dugout for Mumbai Indians during the TATA IPL 2023 as a mentor.

Sachin Mania takes over a flight –

It is normal for the Indian fans to hear chants of Sachin… Sachin when ever he used to take the field. The 49 year old was recently travelling in a flight when a few fans decided to break into an impromptu chant for Sachin Tendulkar. One twitter user by the name @TipTopTippani wrote “this happened just now on my flight! Be it on or off the field. The chants of Sachin, Sachin! Continue to reverberate in our hearts”


The master blaster thanks his fans for the love –

Sachin Tendulkar is always known to be humble and approachable by the fans. Despite achieving every record and creating new ones, he has remained grounded. The 49 year old has always been known to be soft spoken to his fans and the love he has got from the billions of Indians.

Taking to Twitter, the master blaster of cricket wrote “thank you to those on my flight who were chanting my name a little while ago. Reminiscent of the time when I used to come out to bat. Unfortunately, the seat belt sign was on so I could not stand up to greet you. So saying a big hello to all now”


Sachin Tendulkar a proud father –

Just a few days ago, Arjun Tendulkar created history by scoring a century on debut during the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. The 23 year old emulated what is father did 34 years ago on his Ranji debut. Sachin Tendulkar while speaking to the media said he was a proud father and had also told Arjun to go for a century to help his team post a big total.
