Australian Cricket Team returns to the format that they love the most and have dominated for a long time. After watching their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand lift the inaugural World Test Championship title, Pat Cummins would want to do the same. The opponents are the same as the 2021 final and big time rivals the Indian team. Australia haven’t beaten India in a bilateral test series since 2014/15 but this one off game gives them a chance to put the past behind.

Cameron Green’s warning bell for India –

Young Australian all rounder Cameron Green was one of the biggest names during the two month long IPL. Green will now be bowling to Rohit Sharma his IPL skipper during the game starting on Wednesday.

Ahead of the big game, Cameron Green has sounded out a warning to team India. the young all rounder wants to make contribution with the ball with the help of the seaming conditions. Green while speaking to Cricket.co.au said “everyone wants to bowl in England because of the swing. I’m sure of getting some help from the wicket over here so it would be nice to have a ball in my hand when the game starts”

Green looking to play attacking cricket –

Mumbai Indians were hamstrung by the loss of Bumrah and much later Archer during the IPL. While Green was decent with the ball, he did score over 400 runs for the 5 time champions including a 47 ball century in the crucial game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

After spending over 2 months with Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar the young Aussie wants to prove his worth with the bat. Green said while speaking to the media “I like the way England have been test cricket. This shows that you don’t need to change a lot in your technique while playing red ball cricket. I was defending a lot earlier but this time I will go for my shots. I have learned from my mistakes and will look to carry on in the final”

Green’s test numbers –

Cameron Green so far has played 20 tests for Australia and scored 941 runs with the bat.
