Indian Cricket: Prithvi Shaw’s latest social media story leaves fans confused

Prithvi Shaw broke into the Indian team with the world of talent on his shoulders. The youngster led the Indian team to a Under-19 world cup win in early 2018. Shaw, made his test debut the same year against West Indies and scored a century on debut. Since then, the youngster has fallen off the radar with problems on and off the field. Shaw, though is always active on social media and his latest message on social media has left fans confused.

Shaw posts a heart-breaking social media post –

Prithvi Shaw, has been in the eye of the storm in recent times. The youngster took to Instagram and wrote “Some people will only 'love you' as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop”. This message from Shaw left a lot of his fans concerned and confused. One wondered why and to whom was this message directed to.


Shaw’s latest controversy

23 year old Prithvi Shaw has been involved in a controversy. The incident happened on 15th February a day after Valentines day. Shaw, who was out with his friend when he was approached by a fan for a selfie. After initially bowing to the demands of the fan, Shaw refused when more selfie’s were demanded. This ended in a series of legal complaints coming back and forth.

Shaw’s recent return to team India –

Prithvi Shaw was part of the team for the recent T20 series against New Zealand. Shaw, did not get a game to play as the Indian team decided to stick with Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill at the top of the order. Shaw, recently speaking to the media, said that he was just happy to comeback to the Indian team. Shaw further said that the decision to go with Gill and Kishan lay with the team management.

Prithvi Shaw wants to win IPL with Delhi –

Delhi Capitals will be going into the TATA IPL 2023 season with a new sense of hope. After the accident suffered by Rishabh Pant, the Delhi team have named David Warner as the skipper. Warner, will hope Shaw comes out firing on all cylinders and scores plenty of runs. Shaw for his part has also said that he wants to score run for his IPL side and help them win their maiden TATA IPL title this season.
