The win came at the right time for the team in Bangalore after they were in search of a win to keep their top 4 hopes alive. Rajasthan Royals were in for a shock on Sunday afternoon as the team was all out for 59 to record the 3rd ever lowest total in the history of TATA IPL.

Royal Challengers Bangalore bowled out Rajasthan Royals for 59 as Wayne Parnell, Karn Sharma, Mohammad Siraj, Michael Bracewell and Glenn Maxwell did the trick with the ball. Shimron Hetmyer with 35 and Joe Root with 10 were the only double digit scorers as the Royals had a day to forget with the bat.

With the tournament into its final week, Royal Challengers Bangalore now face off against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. A win in both games will give Bangalore 16 points and a chance to make it to the top 4 as they also have a positive run rate post the thumping 112 run win.
