IPL 2020: KKR vs RCB – Match Preview and Fantasy XI

IPL 2020: KKR vs RCB – Match Preview and Fantasy XI

Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians was the clash of the two best teams in IPL 2020 so far. It was the defending champions who prevailed and went to the top of the table. While that was more of an ego clash to take the numero uno spot, this one is bigger in the context of qualifying for the playoffs. While both teams can qualify after losing today’s encounter, the winners today will create a safety net around them.

A win for either team will give them 5 wins and 2 losses. They will join MI and DC with 10 points and create a gap between themselves and others. A loss on the other hand will mean being stuck at 8 points, with the 5th and 6th placed team being close to their heels with 6 points.

Sharjah calling

The clash of the two big guns will be played in the small Sharjah ground. That means plenty of runs and lots of balls lost. However, if the previous match at Sharjah is anything to go by, then the pitch will be stopping a bit and might even take some turn. If the ball takes turn, then it will be advantage KKR. KKR will be looking to bat first for sure, while RCB may be in two minds, owing to their weak death bowling.

5 players that must feature in your KKR vs RCB Fantasy XI

Shubman Gill – Gill has been fairly consistent this IPL. In the last few matches he has looked good and threatened to play a match changing innings. This might be that match.

Devdutt Padikkal – Padikkal will love the small boundaries at Sharjah. Don’t be surprised if he goes hell for leather from the beginning.

Virat Kohli – King Kohli is well and truly back. The man is in form and he doesn’t let good form go to waste. Trust him to score some runs.

Sunil Narine – Narine has been the reason for KKR’s victory heists in the last two matches. He will bowl in the death and has a chance of picking a bagful of wickets.

Navdeep Saini – Saini started the IPL with a bang but has tapered off in the last 2-3 games. He is too good a bowler not to
make a comeback.
