It’s a battle Royale, between two sets of Royals. When RCB come out on the field to take on RR, they will do well to remember the first encounter between these teams in IPL 2020. The match will be played in the searing heat of Dubai. Expect the surface to be quite slow in the afternoon. Add the bigger boundaries and it will be advantage spinners. 1) Jos Buttler – Buttler hasn’t quite set IPL 2020 on fire. However he has looked good in his brief stays on the wicket. One just gets the feeling he’a due for a big one.
2) Devdutt Padikkal – Padikkal just needs to carry on doing the good work. He is a vital cog in the RCB wheel and the team will be expecting him to fire again.
3) Ben Stokes – Stokes looked great in the last match. Opening is a new role for him and he is not someone who will miss out too many times.
4) AB De Villiers – Mr 360 inexplicably came out to bat at number 6 in the previous game and it cost RCB dearly. He will be eager to continue his good form.
5) Jofra Archer – Archer has been on fire this season. He has been consistently bowling over 150 kmph and expect him to make early inroads.
