The 14th edition is nearly upon us and the fans are filled with excitement at the prospect of their favorite teams taking the field again in the summer carnival of cricket. The teams for their part are busy in the preparations for the tournament after having filled their squad with the players they need and are all set with the tournament slated to kick off on April 9 with Mumbai Indians facing Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game of the tournament.

Punjab Unveils New Team Jersey –
Punjab Kings have made a lot of changes to their squad during the IPL auction 2021 with many new faces added to the squad and possibly put them in the contention for a first title. One of the things that Punjab Kings have also done is the fact that they have changed the name of the team from Kings XI Punjab and also their logo. Recently Punjab Kings unveiled their new team kit in a twitter promotional video. The new team logo is on the left hand side of the jersey while there is a roaring lion also makes it to the kit, the color too seems changed for the Preity Zinta owned side.

As soon as the new playing kit came to light the fans weren’t too enthused with the new kit and had a field day in having at the jersey that was introduced by Punjab Kings as they said the newly launched kit reminded them of the vintage jersey that RCB used to wear when IPL started.
