Chasing a score of 189 to win Rajasthan Royals were coasting at one point of time but the loss of Jos Buttler who was bowled by Jadeja with a beautiful delivery altered the course of the match. Towards the end of the game with the game already out of grasp for the men in pink Jaydev Unadkat was having time of his life smacking bowlers around for boundaries, till Shardul Thakur bowled one wide which Unadkat swat the ball directly into the waiting palm of Jadeja who first put up four fingers to signify the catches he had taken during the game and then did a βCall meβ sign to tell his team mates in the dugout about his special feat.
Comprehensive performance from Chennai Super Kings β
Chennai Super Kings were their normal self with the bat as the entire team contributed with the bat with some crucial scores. Faf Du Plessis scored 33 with the likes of Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo all scoring important runs which helped CSK to 188 on the board. Jadeja got into the act as he had Buttler bowled for 49 off 35 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Jadeja wasnβt done though as he picked the catches of Manan Vohra, Riyan Parag, Chris Morris and Jaydev Unadkat in the field and also picked the wicket of Shivam Dube for 17 to have a great day in the field, with the bat Jadeja scored 8 runs from 7 deliveries with one four and all this inspired CSK to a 45 run victory.
