Social Media is a double edged sword, while it connects people closer to their stars, it can also show us the worst side. Cricketers use social media just like any other person to showcase their moods or give updates. Majority of the fans are respectful with decent conversations, there are few who spoil the mood. Many cricketers let go of such users by ignoring them. There are some though who give a reply in such a classic manner that the supposed Troll is put in his place for his trouble.
The story as it happened –
Jofra Archer the English pace bowler has been out of the game for quiet sometime owing to injury. The West Indies born pacer is slowly making his way back into the cricket field after he has started practicing. Archer recently took to Twitter and wrote “Never getting a dog from UK again”. Not much is known why the 27 year old came up with such a tweet.

Abusive fan put in his place by Archer –
The moment Archer put out this tweet, one fan tried to be clever with an attempted dig at the bowler. The user wrote “Mumbai Indians bought one for 8 Crore” . Not one to leave this go, Archer was quick to respond when he wrote “I hope you get the love you deserve one day”. The reply was as quick as his Exocet missile deliveries which he bowls at the batsmen. The reply from Archer had nearly 12,000 likes and over 200 replies.
