Cricketers at the age of 40 are either retired and heading to the life on the commentary box or get into coaching. MS Dhoni is an eternal and the former India captain yesterday showed that his prowess is still alive and kicking. While MSD might have scored just 28 off 13 balls, his knock helped Chennai get over the line. The El-Classico against Mumbai Indians saw the men in yellow win the game by 3 wickets. This enabled them to get their 2nd win of the season and keep Mumbai rock bottom at 10th in the table.
Kate Cross puts a special message for MSD -
With 4 needed off the last ball of the match, Jaydev Unadkat was a man under pressure. He was bowling to the best finisher in the world and personally Dhoni had scored at a Strike Rate of over 200 against the Saurashtra fast bowler. Unadkat in a matter of few second had his hands on the head and the feeling of getting sunk by one the greats. English woman cricketer Alex Hartley posted a picture of her team mate Kate Cross watching the game on TV. Hartley took to twitter and wrote "She Believes...." and tagged the official CSK fan club and the IPL team's official twitter handle too. Kate Cross was quick to reply and said "Never in doubt... @chennaiIPL... always @msdhoni"

MSD the magic still remains –
MS Dhoni during his heydays was known as a master finisher. The 2011 world cup innings of 91 not out still is fresh in the memory of every fan. Since his retirement in 2019 when he scored a 50 and was on the losing end to New Zealand, the fans still remember the tearful exit MSD had. With this knock the former India and CSK skipper showed that old habits die hard. With 16 needed off 4 balls, MSD hit the next two balls for a six and four. This got the equation down to 6 off 2 and MSD took two runs, showing he still could run well between the wickets. The last ball was struck for 4 and there was mass celebration witnessed in the ground and the stands. It also made one Kate Cross a happy fan seeing her favorite CSK win.
