Mumbai Indians player creates controversy by deleting a tweet he posted

TM

It is a do or die day for Mumbai Indians as the 5 time champs face off against eternal rivals Chennai super kings. The men in blue and gold embark to play their 7th match as they know a loss against Chennai will put them out of the tournament. The whole campaign has been disastrous for Mumbai Indians and Rohit Sharma has been under pressure. This has been the worst ever showing by the Mumbai outfit, ever since the league began in 2008. Now there has been a minor controversy which taken place just hours before the start of the game against CSK.

Mumbai Indians bowler’s antics on twitter leave the fans puzzled –

Mumbai Indians had bought Englishman Tymal Mills with a view to enforce the new ball and the death bowling. The 29 year old Englishman  hasn’t been able to deliver the good with the ball so far in the tournament. A twitter user with the name Dr. Cricpoint recently put out a tweet which read “Tymal Mills is reportedly injured and likely to miss remaining IPL 2022 for MI”. Once this tweet came out the MI bowler was quick to respond and wrote “I have no idea who you are where you got this information from., but you are wrong. I am perfectly fine. Remove this post”. Curiously Tymal Mills later went onto delete the tweet. This activity caused a lot of confusion in the Mumbai Indians fans ahead of the big game against CSK.

Dhawal Kulkarni more or less confirmed?

Yesterday it was reported that 33 year old Dhawal Kulkarni could make a comeback to the IPL. The former MI bowler has been seen as a replacement and could join MI at the end of this month. Kulkarni who is doing commentary for the Star Sports India network could be drafted in as a replacement for Mills. Mumbai have struggled with the ball so far this season. The game on Thursday could see either Arjun Tendulkar or Riley Meredith play. Rohit Sharma will be in lookout for a win to salvage something from an already miserable season for MI.
