Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday lost the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 18 runs. The loss not only saw them lose their place in the 2nd spot in the table but also potentially some massive amount of money. Over the past two days the TATA IPL has seen the heat of the tournament pick up. The game between RCB and LSG was no different. Now after losing the game the LSG team management are facing a insult to the injury as two big name player are set to be in trouble with the authorities.

As per reports coming out, the BCCI and the IPL council have decided to impose heavy fines on two LSG players. The 2 LSG members in question are captain KL Rahul and Australian Marcus Stoinis. While the Charge against KL Rahul still hasn’t been disclosed, the speculations are it could be over-rate related. The charges against Marcus Stoinis are to do with his inappropriate behavior towards the umpire. Stoinis was seen to be livid after getting dismissed by Hazlewood. The Australian vented his ire after he wasn’t given a wide ball in the previous delivery. Stoinis visibly looking upset let few expletives fly.
The penalties levied –
KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis have been docked 20% of their match remunerations. Stoinis will be making the payment himself after he accepted the charges put on him. The Australian batter’s outburst was the reason why the heavy fine was slapped on him.KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis have played a crucial role for the newest team in the IPL. Rahul scored a century against Mumbai Indians and Stoinis has shown his worth as a batter and a finisher in few of the games.
LSG next face Mumbai Indians on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. KL Rahul and his men will hope to keep the rub of the green going and win the game and qualify for the top 4 place. The LSG management meanwhile will hope the players can keep their emotions in check and not lose hard earned money.
