Gujarat Titans on Sunday, were a beaming bunch as they won the 2022 TATA IPL by beating Rajasthan Royals in the final. The Hardik Pandya led side won the title by 7 wickets with 11 balls to spare. The victory was special as it was played in front of a capacity crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium at Ahmedabad. On the other hand it was a tough night for Sanju Samson and his men after the loss. It was the closest they came to the title ever since winning in 2008. It was also sad to see them not winning the title and getting to honor their former captain Shane Warne who passed away earlier this year.
Trent Boult’s reaction on Vande Matram gets the social media buzzing –
It was a star filled night at the Narendra Modi Stadium at Ahmedabad. The capacity crowd got to witness the energetic performance by Ranveer Singh. It was followed by a beautiful rendition of Vande Matram by AR Rahman. Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult could be seen admiring the performance before he saw him getting captured on the big screen and he turned away his gaze laughing. The reaction has won the hearts of a million Indian fans.

Trent Boult dazzles with his new team –
Trent Boult was released after a successful few years with the Mumbai Indians where he won two titles. He was picked by Rajasthan Royals during the TATA IPL auctions this year and the left arm quick from New Zealand was amazing with the ball. The 32 year old picked 16 wickets with the ball from the 16 games played. He had an economy of 7.94 and was one of the most dangerous bowlers with the new ball. Boult played a huge role in the RR’s run to the finals and in fact was one of the most dangerous bowlers with the new ball in the final. Boult picked 1/14 from his 4 overs in the finals against Gujarat Titans as RR made a spirited start in defence of their 130.
