2022 T20 World Cup: Super 12 stage South Africa vs Zimbabwe preview

H

South Africa kick off their 2022 T20 World Cup against Zimbabwe a contest which on paper should be a cakewalk. The Zimbabweans though have shown a resurgence of sorts as they have qualified for the Super 12 stage for the first time ever. South Africa will come into the tournament with a series loss under their belt against India. The South African team will enjoy playing their 1st game at Hobart as they would love the pace, swing and seam that the ground may have to offer during the late evening.

Venue – Bellerive Oval

Time – 1:30 PM IST

Likely Pitch Conditions – Hobart could witness few spells of showers through the course of late evening. The temperature is already cold and the pace bowlers could enjoy the swing that is in the air. The team winning the toss would love to bowl first and make use of the likely dew factor while chasing.
