Anil Kumble on the verge of sack –

Punjab Kings along with Delhi Capitals and RCB are one of the 3 original teams yet to win the IPL title. The Preity Zinta owned side let go of their skipper KL Rahul who was snapped up by Lucknow. Mayank Agarwal was made the captain of the side, despite making some huge signings, the PBKS side couldn’t reach the final four. Anil Kumble the former Indian leg spinning great and captain as well Indian coach, is on his way to parting ways with the franchise.

Two big international names in fray to replace Kumble –

As per reports, PBKS are looking to make Eoin Morgan the coach of the side, which has taken many by surprise. Morgan who retired recently is still involved with franchise cricket and is also a commentator for the English cricket. Morgan last was part of the KKR team where he was the captain of the side and led them to the final of IPL in 2021. The other name is that of Morgan’s former coach at England and KKR in Trevor Bayliss. This name has excited a lot of fans as Bayliss was part of the KKR outfit which won the IPL title twice as well as England which won the world cup ion 2019.
