One name who took the Indian cricket by storm this year was none other than 37 year old Dinesh Karthik. The RCB wicket keeper bat put in an amazing performance with the bat during the TATA IPL 2022 to earn an Indian recall.
Dinesh Karthik’s emotional post –
The 37 year old Chennai based veteran on Wednesday took to social media and wrote “worked hard towards the goal of playing the T20 world cup for India and it was such a proud feeling to do so… we did fall short of the ultimate motive, but it did fill my life with memories to cherish. Thank you to all my fellow players, coaches, friends and most importantly the fans for the undying support”.
Karthik posted a short video of himself on Instagram in the Indian jersey during the recent T20 World Cup in Australia. The Indian was seen with his family and the Indian team mates and donning the gloves perhaps for one last time in the Indian colors.
