Chennai Super Kings had the worst ever season as they came into the campaign as the defending champs. The season began with the bombshell that rocked the fans when MS Dhoni stepped down as the skipper of the side. The captaincy was given to Ravindra Jadeja, but a run of bad form meant that Jadeja was removed as the captain of the side and Dhoni became the captain once again.

Ravindra Jadeja and CSK haven’t exactly had a great relationship post the end of IPL. In-fact, Jadeja missed the final few games of the season and this set the tongues wagging about the possible reason. One CSK insider has now come out and made a huge claim about the reason Jadeja was replaced as the captain mid-way through the season. the person in the know how said that Dhoni had a fear that Jadeja could lose his spot in the Indian T20 line up if he kept up with his bad captaincy at CSK. It is said that MSD felt that the bad performance of Jadeja could have an impact on his mind.
Jadeja’s uneasy relationship with CSK –
Ravindra Jadeja hasn’t spoken much about Chennai Super Kings post the end of the season. The 33 year old all rounder has shown his displeasure over the social media, as he first removed every mention of CSK from his social media handles. He then put up a post about self respect on his Instagram ID. The initial rumors started when it came to light that Jadeja had stopped following CSK on social media.
Jadeja to leave CSK?
According to latest reports, Jadeja has made up his mind to leave CSK and wants to play for a new team during IPL 2023. CSK are still hopeful of solving the issue, as Jadeja wants to put himself up for grabs during the trade window which opens in November. Jadeja has been quiet so far on the matter and the suspense about his future with CSK is throwing the fans off the rails.
