Cheteshwar Pujara has been having a whale of time with the bat during his stint with Sussex. The 34 year old has stormed the bowling with his batting and scored runs at will. Pujara has scored truck load of runs during the county championships, but has been a raging hit during the Royal London Bank series too. Pujara has scored quickfire centuries and also captained his side during the over format. His long stint in the UK has seen Pujara, rediscover his form with the bat which is a good news for Indian fans.
Aakash Chopra stumps Pujara with his question on Twitter –
Former India opener turned commentator, Aakash Chopra is known for his social media activities and opinions. Chopra was recently seen taking part and asking Pujara a query, while the Indian test number 3 was interacting with the fans. Chopra asked Pujara “hey buddy are you a better dancer now as compared to 2008”. One has to wonder perhaps, Chopra is talking about their stint with KKR in 2008. Both were part of the KKR outfit during the inaugural few years of the Indian Premier League.
Pujara has a funny reply to Chopra –
Pujara caught wind of the question that was posed by Chopra and the 34 year old replied “Sorry to disappoint no changes whatsoever”. Pujara has been in amazing form with the bat and scored over 600 runs for Sussex during the Royal London Cup this year. He has smashed 3 centuries and has scored runs at a strike rate of over 100 each time. Pujara has also hit two half centuries and has a best of 174 which is his best List A score.
