Four players to have played a single game for KKR

Kolkata Knight Riders ever since the start of the Indian Premier league have been one of the most loved teams. The team is owned by Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla along with her husband. The team had an underwhelming start to their IPL career as they failed to win the tournament in the first 3 years. Since buying Gautam Gambhir the team went onto become a force to be reckoned with and won the tournament twice in 2012 and 2014. Players like Jacques Kallis, Brett Lee, Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell have played for the Kolkata based outfit. There are few players though who did not get longer rope for the two time champs.

Azhar Mehmood- vs RR

Azhar Mehmood was known as a handy and amazing all rounder in the shortest format of the game. The former Pakistani all rounder who had migrated to UK by then had started his IPL stint with PBKS before moving east. Mehmood played a single against RR and was smashed for 41 runs and scored just 6 with the bat.

Mashrafe Mortaza vs Deccan Chargers

One of the earliest Bangladesh players to be part of IPL 2009 which was held in South Africa. Ashraful was picked by Mumbai Indians while Mortaza went to KKR. He made his debut in the classic game against eventual Champs Deccan Chargers. Defending over 20 in the final over of the game, he was taken to the cleanersby Rohit Sharma and Mortaza never played again.

Darren Bravo vs RPS

Once compared to the legendary Brian Lara, the younger brother of Dwayne Bravo came with huge potential. The year 2017 saw the left handed batter being picked by KKR. In the game against eventual finalists Rising Pune Supergiants, Bravo scored unbeaten 6 to see KKR win the game. Bravo now plays for Trinbago Knight Riders which is also owned by Shahrukh Khan and co.

Brad Haddin vs RCB

The former Australian wicket keeper batter and world cup winner was part of KKR during IPL 2011 when he scored 11 ball 18 versus RCB. It is the same game where Former KKR player Chris Gayle made his RCB debut and scored a century. Haddin unfortunately did not play again
