ICC 2022 World T20: Super 12 stage India vs Bangladesh Preview

Super 12 stage Group 2 will see India and Bangladesh take on each other on Wednesday in a match that is of high importance to both the teams. Bangladesh come into the game with a close win over Zimbabwe on Sunday. The Indians on the other hand lost the game with 2 balls to spare against South Africa.

In the case of an Indian win, the men in blue would be the first team to make it to the semi finals of the 2022 T20 World Cup. If Bangladesh win not only they keep their hopes alive but also could make a play for the semis spot and bring Pakistan into play and put India under pressure with a final game on Sunday against Zimbabwe at MCG.

Venue – Adelaide Oval, Adelaide

Time – 1330 PM IST

Likely pitch conditions –

The evening match will be a haven for pace bowlers especially one’s who rely on swing and seam. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh could be handy for the Indian team. Mohammad Shami with his fuller lengths can also come into equation. The team winning the toss might like to bat first as there is no dew expected later in the day, with the breeze helping the swing and seam.
