India and Pakistan cricket fans are very passionate about their teams. The two sets of fans love to compare their players. In this day and age, the debate is between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, while in the yesteryear’s it was Sachin Tendulkar and Inzamam Ul Haq or Saeed Anwar. While some discussions and debates may warrant some thought, former Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz has stoked a whole new controversy

Inzamam better than Rahul Dravid – Wahab Riaz

Former Pakistani left arm seamer, Wahab Riaz was part of a chat show and his comments during the show has now gone viral. Speaking during the show, Riaz said Inzamam Ul Haq was a much better batter than Rahul Dravid.

Riaz was heard saying β€œInzamam Ul Haq was a better player than Rahul Dravid. Inzamam Bhai was an all format player and he had a lot of time to play his shots even against the pacers. He was way ahead of Dravid”

Speaking of Rahul Dravid, the current Indian coach ad played 164 tests scoring 13288 runs with 36 tons and 63 half centuries with an average of 52.3. Dravid also played 318 ODI games scoring 10889 runs with 12 centuries and 83 half centuries with an average of 39.1. Dravid also kept wickets and pouched 72 catches as wicket keeper out of 196 catches and had 14 stumpings.

Inzamam on the other hand played 120 tests scoring 8830 runs with an average of 49 with 25 centuries and 46 centuries. In ODI cricket, Inzamam scored 11739 runs from 378 matches with an average of with 10 tons and 83 fifties.
