Indian fans put a Pakistani actress in place who tried to troll Hardik Pandya

Tuesday was a special day for cricket fans across both sides of the Indian border. At Mohali, India was playing Australia in the 1st of 3 match T20 series. Over in Pakistan, the 17 years wait to see England play was finally over. The English team were playing the first of 7 T20 matches against the home team.

The story as it happened –

India despite scoring 208 on the board, lost the game to Australia by 4 wickets in the final over of the game. Post the loss, Hardik Pandya posted a message about the loss via heartfelt tweet. Pandya wrote, “We’ll learn, we’ll improve. A big thanks to all our fans for your support always”. Pandya had top scored for India with 30 ball 71 not out, which was his career best score.

Sehar Shinwari tries to troll the Indian player –

Actress Sehar Shinwari shot to fame when Amit Mishra shut her up during the Asia Cup. The lessons weren’t learnt as she tried to kick up a storm again on twitter. The actress wrote “please lose next match to Pakistan on 23rd October you will learn more from it”. The tweet was in obvious reference to India’s clash with Pakistan in the T20 World Cup at MCG next month.

The trolling backfires as Pakistan lose the game to England –

Across the border, just like India, even Pakistan lost their 1st game of the series to England. Despite a half century by Mohammad Rizwan, the familiar frail middle order of Pakistan came to the fore. Despite being 109/1 at one stage they could only manage 158 on the board. Half century by Alex Hales and a quick fire 42 by Harry Brooks led England to a win to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Indian fans put Sehar Shinwari in her place –

Indian cricket fans were quick to spring to the defence of Hardik Pandya. They first off all trolled the actress for her comments, then they also made fun of the fact that Pakistan had lost at home to England. You can read all the tweets which are embedded below.
