Ramiz Raja recent comments about Virat Kohli hasn't sat down well with some of his own countrymen and has been rightly and soundly thrashed for his comments.

The story as it happened -

Ramiz Raja recently took a dig at Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and the Indian team. The PCB chief said " India then should have been criticised severely for not reaching the final. But that is not what their media do ... I'll tell you when Virat Kohli scored a century against Afghanistan, they forgot their entire Asia Cup... Will we ever do that"

Salman Butt slams Ramiz Raja for his comments -

Former Pakistani captain, Salman Butt though did not take kindly to the comments by ramiz Raja. Butt came out in defense of Virat Kohli and said " There was absolutely no need to take a dig. Aap relevant example b nahi de sakte. Woh duniya ka top player. He's only second man in entire history of cricket jiske 70+ centuries hai. Beherhaal I don't know... He's frustrated. Maybe he's got some news, jo baakiyon ko kuch dino baad milegi. Unhone aur bhi kayi baat ki hai jinka koi mettle ya logic nahi tha. Bas satehi baatein ki hain.

Kohli's recent form with the bat -

Virat Kohli shrugged for nearly 3 years of wait to score a century during the 2022 Asia Cup tournament. Kohli struck his 71st century got India in the final game of the super 4 stages against Afghanistan.
