The whole nation was celebrating the 76th years of Independence Day, and with major celebrities/ sportstars participating in #HarGharTiranaga campaign, and also changing their DP to tricolor flag.

The Indian Cricket Team Captain Rohit Sharma followed the same gesture what other celebrities were doing, and posted a picture of him holding the flag and wishing his fans ‘Happy Independence Day’ (स्वतंत्रता दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं) . The picture was all good, where he was wearing an ethinic wear.

But the photo was all perfect, but the Internet found out a flaw in the picture and the Twitteratis mentioned that the flag used by Sharma was apparently Photoshopped and hence it was called out on the microblogging site.

Twitter Users zoomed the picture and found out the glitch in the picture and they reacted in this way:

The social media users criticized the player as he earns millions of dollars by playing for his nation, but he is not able to afford a flag. Many of them also mentioned that the player is using the same picture from 2016 and posting it every year.

Currently, Rohit Sharma is not in action with the Indian team, he will join the team during the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 commencing on the 27th of August, 2022.

India will start their campaign on the 28th of August, 2022 against the arch-rivals Pakistan. Last time, both teams faced each other in the T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE where the men in green outplayed the Indian side by a massive margin of 10 wickets.

It will be the first time for Rohit Sharma as the full-time captain when will face Pakistan in any major tournament. Whereas, Babar has led the Pakistan team for a couple of times against India.
