Team India are gearing up for the second warm up game against Western Australia in Thursday at the WACA stadium. India has won the first game as they gave a run out to everyone except KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin. It is expected the trio will play on Thursday and get their first feel of match conditions before the Indian team takes on Australia and New Zealand in the two official Warm up matches. India then heads into the 2022 T20 World Cup as they take on heated Rivals Pakistan in the first game for both the teams on Sunday 23 October. 

The story as it happened - 

Tuesday was a special day for Hardik Pandya as he celebrated his 29th birthday. The all rounder got wishes from countless Indian fans and his family and Indian team members. The Indian team members including captain Rohit Sharma, Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik and few more decided to make it a special day for the birthday boy.

Rohit Sharma cusses at Dinesh Karthik - 

Dinesh Karthik took over the role of official cameraman for the few players who were taken on a short ride in a helicopter. Rohit Sharma and the rest of the team could be seen enjoying the sounds of the engines revving up. Pandya was seen sittin by the pilot and deeply involved in observing anything and everything that the pilot was doing. Karthik panned the camera towards Rohit Sharma who was seen grinning year yo year and called Karthik "C****a" . 

More practice for team India - 

India on Monday played their first match since landing on the Australian soil for the 2022 T20 World Cup. The men in blue beat Western Australia after scoring 158 while batting first. Rohit Sharma could score only 3, while Rishabh Pant scored 9. Pandya scored 27 while SKY top scored with 52 off 35 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. With the ball it was arshdeep with 3 wickets for 6 runs that led the way for India.

Shami, Shardul Thakur and Siraj to fly to Australia - 

After week's of uncertainty the Indian selection committee has finally decided to send Mohammad Shami to Australia as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah. Shami cleared his fitness tests at the NCA and a clean chit was given to him. Meanwhile, the injury to Deepak Chahar has given Shardul Thakur a chance to go to Australia. Mohammad Siraj has also been sent as a part of the Indian squad after his impressive showing with the ball during the South Africa series
