Root scored over 1700 runs last calendar season for England in test cricket and 2022 has seen him continue in the same vein. Joe Root has already two scored two centuries in the current series against New Zealand. He also joined his former skipper Cook to become the joint quickest to score 10,000 runs in test cricket.

Brunt could be enjoying a cold beverage in the video in the members area. The moment Root got to his century she got up from the seat and began to do the Twerk much to the amazement of many. The video from Barmy Army got over 2000 likes on twitter and has become a viral hit on the internet.

New Zealand and England are playing some top notch test cricket and exchanging blows on the field. Joe Root who was in amazing for during the Indian home series last year, seems to have taken his batting form into different level. Root scored an amazing century in the 4th innings at Lord’s to guide his team to a 5 wicket win. Root continued the form from Lord’s by scoring 176 on Monday which was the 4th day of the test match. His innings enabled his team to reach 539 in the 1st dig, Ollie Pope scored career best 145, while batting at number 3. New Zealand ended up getting a lead of 14 runs in the first innings with Boult claiming 5 wickets.

The Nottingham test is now evenly posied with New Zealand ending the day at 224 for 7 with a lead of 238.
