Hardik Pandya was a beaming captain after the 4 run win over Ireland. India held their nerves to win the game despite the heroic fightback from the Irish batting unit in chase of 226. This win gave the India yet another T20 series win. The men in blue will now move yo to England for the white ball series. It was an memorable debut for Pandya as the national team captain, after his title winning stint with Gujarat Titans last month. While the Indian batting was too notch, the bowlers came in for tap from the opposition batting. The likes of bhuvneshwar kumar and Umran Malik were carted for boundaries on the small ground at Malahide cricket ground.

Hardik Pandya gets angry on Ishan Kishan and Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel played his first game when he replaced Avesh Khan from the last game. The normally effective and conservative bowling of Harshal Patel was hit for runs by the Irish batting unit. The incident in question happened during the back end of the Ireland batting innings. The Irish batting was giving the Indian bowling a scare. Harshal Patel beat the Irish batsman and the ball was struck in the pads. The bowler and wicket keeper went up in unison. They convinced Hardik Pandya to go up for the DRS. Much to the surprise of many, Pandya obliged to the request. Turns out that the ball pitched outside off stump. India thus lost their 2nd and final review. Hardik Pandya lost his cool and was seen giving a piece of his mind to the Indian players in question, Ishan Kishan and Harshal Patel.

Sanju Samson and Deepak Hooda dominate with the bat

Hardik Pandya won his second toss and he elected to bat first. Sanju Samson came in for ruturaj gaikwad who was injured in the last game. Kishan was out cheaply to leave India at 6 for 1, from there the two two right handed batters went for the Irish bowling. Hooda scored his first ever T20 century while becoming the fourth Indian to do so. He hit 9 fours and six sixes in his innings. Samson too made good use of the chance he got by scoring 77 which was his First every T20 half century. The two scored at a good pace and added 176 runs for the second wicket which is a record for India
